Questions and Answers

Thank you for the comments! I read all of them and it has been so fun to hear what you guys think about Witch for Hire.

I’ve had questions about the mailing list. If you are on the mobile site the right side bar may not show up. On the full site, there is a box on the right hand side of the site that says “Sign Up for My Newsletter.” A few people have asked me to manually add them to the mailing list, and I can’t. If you are having trouble signing up for the mailing list please e-mail me at: author (at) neconneely.com
Edit: The mobile/small screen website should show the “Sign Up for My Newsletter” box at the bottom of the website.

You guys have given me some awesome ideas, which deserve equally awesome answers.

DJ: You’ve listed origami and knitting as two of your interests. It would be fun/amusing if you could somehow work those, along with the control runes, into your world’s system of magic.

Tamora Pierce has done this very well in at least nine books. She did it in a fabulous and seamless way. I love this system of magic.  In Witch for Hire objects are used to focus and amplify magic, which is where aspects of object based magic appear. That’s where the similarities will end in Michelle’s world.  I have some projects with different systems of magic, and object driven magic is one of them.

Can we see pixies, werewolves, and weresloths?

The werewolves will appear in the next book. I’ll have to see where pixies and weresloths could fit.

What about a German translation?

At this time, I’m not planning on having Witch for Hire translated into German or any other languages. When the trilogy is complete I will revisit the idea.

When will “A Witch’s Path” be out?

I’m not sure. I have the bones of a good story and I’m putting the muscle on it now. But, the cover will be finished soon and it will be up here the day it’s finished!
