I have a confession.
I hate naming books. It’s agonizing. Countless hours are spent musing over the big picture meaning of the book, how the name represents that, what the name should represent, if it’s a good name, if it’s easy to remember, spelling…
Somewhere on the internet I ran across this gem: “A good book name is the name of a successful book.”
While the statement gave me some peace of mind about naming books, I still want them to have a good name. To me, a good book name is one you like, one that makes you curious about the book.
