As usual life is busy. I’ve got lots of things in the works; like A Witch’s Concern (aka Book 4) has started the many rounds of edits, a fey book, the beginnings of Book 5, paperbacks, and fun extras.
I’m officially a full time writer. The transition is a work in progress, but for the past month I’ve been frantically tying up loose end at work and training my replacement. As part of this transition I’m doing a cross country move. After a lot of soul-searching, I’ve decided to move back to the Georgia mountains that started it all. This feels right, and hopefully it works out as well in practice as it does in my head.
The move is going to slightly delay the release of A Witch’s Concern, because I’ve had to pad out the editing time line. I’m on target for a summer release, July, if I’m lucky, June. I’ll be releasing teaser soon.
In between the little emergencies that crop up with moving 2,700 miles and setting up a new house, I’m debating my next project. I’ll be diving into Witch’s Path Book 5, or a fey novel in an unrelated universe. The fey novel will be my twist on stealing children, and explore a different way the normal and magical can collide.
